The Texas Department of Transportation Research and Technology Implementation department requested concepts for a magazine to be distributed within the TxDOT and other departments of transportation throughout the nation. The publication's main function was to showcase the latest projects and cutting-edge materials available.

A branding package was needed for this practitioner of acupuncture and herbology who treats guests in her comfortable, spa-like studio. Her design direction was simple and concise: "Not too Asian! (And red is my favorite color)." The hand-lettered calligraphy of her logo evokes her industry without resorting to cliché.
